At the London Union we value both academic progression and social enrichment, this is why we provide all our members with an array of social activities which they can look forward to throughout the year. Our events allow members to practice competence and autonomy with implementing relatedness with other members with social interactions. Whether you need a relaxing yoga or mediation class, fancy joining us for a classy beverage tasting evening, Casino Bond or want kick back at a comedy night, we will be hosting it all. In addition to a multitude of regular social events, we will be hosting seasonal events including Día de los Muertos at Halloween and our annual Winter Equinox Ball and Summer Solstice Ball.

The London Union Society has a lot to offer from an events perspective but if you would like to create an event for the Union, have your say. There may be a cultural or religious celebration that you would like to celebrate or a type of event that you would like to see more of, let us know, we would love to hear it. We would like to see how our members could add to the collective social calendar. If you would like to request certain speakers or workshops - or do you have a contact who would be a great candidate for debate, panel or keynote, you can work with us with inviting them and we will do our best to help.
Finally, if you would like to have a more hands on approach and become part of the London Union Society’s history, apply to be a committee member on Speakers, Debates or Ball Committees!
